10 Years of Hope

Naomi’s House is celebrating TEN YEARS of serving survivors! In 2016, we opened our doors and welcomed Brittany* as the first survivor of commercial sexual exploitation to come to Reside.

We could never have imagined the women we would get to know, the stories we would hear, or the countless glimpses of God’s faithfulness we would witness along the way.

Today, Naomi’s House meets survivors wherever they are in their healing journey through three distinct programs: Reside, Rise, and Reset, serving more than 400 women each year. And since opening our doors in 2016, 1,362 survivors have experienced hope and healing through your generous partnership.

Each of the 1,362 women we have served has endured unfathomable trauma and abuse. But at Naomi’s House, they’ve also encountered the deep love, hope, and freedom we have through Christ.

Recently, one of our staff members was studying the story of young David with a woman we serve. Together, they read how David was overlooked because of his outward appearance—but God saw his heart.

As they talked, they were struck by a simple, profound truth: we are enough, right now, in this moment, because God sees us and knows us fully.

And then this woman shared something incredible: she was ready to be baptized! Praise God!

Ten years is a meaningful milestone. But even more meaningful is the life transformation we have the privilege of witnessing in hundreds of women, year after year.

To me, ten years represents a woman discovering that her past does not define her. It is a woman realizing she is seen and deeply loved by God. It is finding hope in freedom, healing, community, and a new start.

And we know there are still so many women who haven’t found healing…yet. Because of your partnership, we are blessed to continue meeting that need—and to keep growing so that more women can experience lasting freedom.

As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, we’ll spend this year looking back with tremendous gratitude—and looking forward with great expectation. We’ll share stories of what your partnership has made possible over the last decade, celebrate how far we’ve come together, and invite you into our vision for how Naomi’s House will continue to grow to meet the need in the years ahead.

Ten years. 1,362 survivors. Countless moments of hope.

Thank you for building this with us. We cannot wait to celebrate all God has done—and all that is still to come.
